Boulder Crest Retreat is focused on healing heroes, one family at a time. Wars produce a tremendous number of visible and invisible wounds, it is estimated that more than 1.1 million fathers, mothers, husbands, wives, siblings and friends are serving as caregivers for wounded service members and veterans. The remarkable service that these caregivers provide is often done out of the limelight, and few programs focus exclusively on this community.
Our comprehensive focus on the entire military family extends to caregivers. We run several programs designed to give caregivers the chance to rest, reconnect and recharge. These free programs are known as Caregiver PATHH, and are typically 3 days in length. Caregiver PATHH leverages the Retreat's safe, sacred and peaceful setting, and offers a range of therapeutic and recreational activities designed to foster peace of mind and restore strength.
