Bluemont Vineyard is excited to host our 2nd annual Boulder Crest Retreat Cornhole Tournament in honor of Veteran’s Day. All proceeds will directly benefit Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness, a local wellness retreat for combat veterans and their families here in Bluemont, VA.
The day will consist of a competitive cornhole tournament, a day long raffle with some great prizes, and of course plenty of wine! (Participants will need to check-in at 10:30am.)
Join us for the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes on September 9, 2017 and enjoy either a 25 mile or 50 mile bicycle route through the beauty of the rolling hills and lush fields of the central Shenandoah Valley countryside.
Registration and start/finish are at the Gypsy Hill Park gym in Staunton, Virginia.

The Dayton Muddler is a unique 3.2 mile (and growing) adventure course through the historic Town of Dayton, VA. This race supports our Nation’s military personnel who suffer injuries of the mind, body, or soul, with proceeds benefiting Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness. “Muddlers” will encounter a variety of obstacles along the way, such as the Cooks Creek Water Run, Redi-Rock Climb Wall, Mud pits, Monkey Bars, Hay Bale Climb, Hurdles, Two 150 + Foot Water Slides, Feed Sack Carry, Sand Pit Crawl, Block and Bucket carry,Water Sprays and more.
This year, participants can sign up for ONE of THREE courses!
The Alpha Course (Individual and team entry) consists of what you’ve read above.
The Omega Course (individual and team entry) is a 13+ mile road bike sprint tacked onto the beginning of the Alpha Course (Mud Course). In short, a grueling biathlon “sprint” designed to tax your system to the max. Here is the Bike Route.

Join us this spring to take a step back into history, while visiting beautiful, historic properties for the second Blue Ridge Mountain Home Tour. Each tour explores the Blue Ridge mountain homes and properties in Loudoun and Clarke Counties.
This tour provides a unique opportunity to see five historic homes and properties built between 1776 and 1910 in the Bear's Den Rural Historic District that have long attracted vacationers with their dramatic, mountain top views that overlook the Shenandoah River Valley to the west, and the Virginia Piedmont to the east.
