The Dayton Muddler is a unique 3.2 mile (and growing) adventure course through the historic Town of Dayton, VA. This race supports our Nation’s military personnel who suffer injuries of the mind, body, or soul, with proceeds benefiting Boulder Crest Retreat for Military and Veteran Wellness.  “Muddlers” will encounter a variety of obstacles along the way, such as the Cooks Creek Water Run, Redi-Rock Climb Wall, Mud pits, Monkey Bars, Hay Bale Climb, Hurdles, Two 150 + Foot Water Slides, Feed Sack Carry, Sand Pit Crawl, Block and Bucket carry,Water Sprays and more.

This year, participants can sign up for ONE of THREE courses!

The Alpha Course (Individual and team entry) consists of what you’ve read above.

The Omega Course (individual and team entry) is a 13+ mile road bike sprint tacked onto the beginning of the Alpha Course (Mud Course).  In short, a grueling biathlon “sprint” designed to tax your system to the max. Here is the Bike Route.

Our popular Youth Division returns for the forth straight year as well!
